One of the most common pets that people keep is a cat. Cats have been pets of human for thousands of years. Nobody is quite certain when or why cats first became domesticated perhas cats took food from prehistoric human in return for keeping the cave free of rats and mice.
Cats make excellent pets as they are gentle and quite animals. Cats like to interect with people if we spend time with them. They can become very friendly and tame. They can also develop a close band with us. Even some people let their cats share their beds.
Cats like to chew and scratch. Their fangs are sharp and their claws are pointed. Have you ever seen a catch scratch something?? That is the way a cat sharpen its claws. So if we decide to let our cats roam about our house freely,we must quard our furniture against their nibbing,this is because they like to chewand scratch everything. Especially younger kittens,they will play with everything they meet. They will chew you shoes,sandals even your mats. So be careful...
Cats sleep during the day and are awake at night. Cats also like to sunbathe. they usually sunbathe in the morning. The lace that they like to sunbathe is on the roof. At night sats do their activites,they try to search rfor their food by chasing mice or rats.
Unlike most wild cats,the domestic cats eat quantitis of non- food meat. They meat rice,biscuits and everhything their masters give. They like salty-fish very much. They also like milk very much. After eating they ussually clean themselve by licking their claws.
