MOLLUSK

Mollusk are including invertebrates animals.It means that they do not have backbones.Their habitats are both on land and in water.But most of them live inthe ocean.There are many kinds of spesies of mollusk.The total of their spesies is about 100.000.
The body of mollusk always contain some liquid.People usually feel disgusting with their liquid.Every mollusk has a shell.It can protect it from the danger.The shape of their shells are not same.There are big shells and the small ones.Their shells have akso different colours such as black,white,brown,brownies,and there are many others. Their bodys consist of tentacles, foot, viserael and cardigan. Their eyes are sometimes hiding and go out from their had and like suckers. The foot of the mollusk is used to creep or dig. Mollusk also have the system of mollusca which contains mouth, esofagus, side, and intestines.
Their food are leaves and grasses. Their reproduction system takes place out side of the bodies. The male mollusks release sperm into the water. And the female ones also release eggs into the water at the same time.
Although this animal is disgusting, mollusk give some benefits. Their bodys contains high protein and vitamin. We usually make satay (the name of food in Indonesia) from their bodies. It tastes delicious. And makes our body warmer . Their shells are also useful for us. Some people use them for handicraftes. Some people also use them for making music instrumens. There are both small shells and big one. People use the big ones for making a trumpet. It can makes a good tone. We can use the small ones to make a music instrument too. We can drill the lower parts of the small shells then we can put the hole of the shell on the small stick. After that, we tied it with a rubber band. We can play it by moving the shells. Remembering that these animals are useful for us, most of people, now catch them for food and music instruments.
